The founder of iMeNd Therapy
Dr. Sharon Fernandez
Dr. Fernandez is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with a Doctorate in Psychology and Counseling focused on trauma and crisis care. With a heart for helping people heal, she supports trauma survivors, Veterans, First Responders, and individuals facing life’s most difficult moments with compassion, respect, and care.
Her work is rooted in strengthening families and communities while helping address the mental health crisis affecting society today. She is passionate about expanding access to care in underserved and marginalized communities and creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered on their path toward healing. Dr. Fernandez earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, a Doctor of Ministry from Regent University, and a joint master’s degree in Divinity and Human Services Counseling from Regent University.

Mr. Eric Baker
Mr. Eric T. Baker is a retired Marine who served over 20 years with deployments throughout the world and is a decorated combat veteran. He currently holds the position as Marine Expeditionary Rifle Squad R&D Facility Director and has worked supporting the Marines since retirement in 2010. Mr. Baker has a baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security Emergency Management, is currently enrolled at Liberty University in a master’s program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is the proud father of four.
Ms. Nolle Cook
Ms. Noelle Cook is a Resident in Counseling with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Pastoral Counseling, from Marymount University. Following a 20-year career in Security and Intelligence within the U.S. Government, she brings a grounded, compassionate, and holistic perspective to her clinical work. Ms. Cook believes clients thrive when counseling honors the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Her approach is rooted in clinical insight, respect for each client’s lived experience, and a commitment to creating space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.


Ms. Julie Josan
Ms. Julie Josan is a counseling intern dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. She provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and personal growth. Her collaborative, client-centered approach draws from evidence-based practices, with professional interests in trauma-informed care through psychodynamic and behavioral approaches.
